TRANSCRIPT

Dr. Jeff Hazim and Dr. Andrea Hazim thank you for joining me on the Dr. Haley Show podcast. We’re happy to be here. So excited. Dr. Mike Haley. Yes. You know, I’m actually really happy to have you guys here now, and especially with the new book that you have written. And did you guys work on that together? Well, yes.

We can tell you the story of how it came to be about. You want to hear? Please? Absolutely. Okay, so we launched a church. And what year? 2019, five years ago, Kingdom Embassy Ministries. And my husband’s an amazing teacher. He’s a content creator. He’s always teaching. But this message, he’s done three times over the past five years, and it just went to my heart.

And I said, every time he’s done it, I’m like, this has to go nationwide. This message has to go nationwide. And recently I launched a publishing company called Speak Life Press. And I’m like, what am I going to do for the first book? And I took a publishing course and they gave us a challenge, seven day challenge do a book in seven days.

I’m like, well, I’m not going to write a book in seven days, but I could turn my favorite teaching into a book. So in essence, he he taught it live. We took the transcript and we organized it into chapters. He edited it and voila! We have a very short, amazing message for such time as this. Yeah, it’s not a pamphlet or anything.

It’s 75 pages. It’s a book. Now there’s a hardcover, softcover, e-book. Yeah. When you say it. Yeah, it’s a it’s a solid read too. Very referenced scripturally. Yeah. Yeah. So and this is not the first book you’ve written. You have you mentioned the King Kingdom Embassy Ministries? Yes. There’s a what? Volume one. Volume two. This is actually in my life.

This is actually the sixth book, but it’s coming before the before the fifth book. I just finished writing a book on Romans called Every Man’s Book of Romans, and literally was finishing up the final touches to have that published. When my wife started this course. And she’s like, don’t publish that book because I just published books, I put them out.

And so, two devotional series. Since we started the church and, and I, you know, I just publish them and I make them available, but I don’t promote them. I never promote anything. And so, she said, let’s do this the right way. This has always been our favorite message, so. And and it’s short. I mean, a lot of the other books, like the Romans book is six times this size.

It’s not like an easy read. It’s it’s a very content. Content rich. This, I think, is an easy read, and it strikes right to the heart. It’s a solid read. It’s an easy read. It’s a solid read. There’s things that’ll make you a little bit uncomfortable. Because, you know, the scripture does that to you. So it does self-assess, right?

You know, and so what we’re talking about in his image, we vote, which is a very timely read for me. I read it yesterday, and I will say it definitely has me thinking on how I’m going to vote on a couple of the amendments that are important here in Florida. We’re not just voting people into offices, but also in our state where we’re going to affect how our state is run for the years to come.

But let’s talk about the first point, which is not in his image. We vote. It’s kind of the it’s kind of the strength behind the message, though. And and that’s freedom. Freedom having no other option. Well, you know, it’s funny because. And that made me uncomfortable. You know. Guy. Right? Are you thinking about freedoms having no other option?

Well, well, you know, I used to think of freedom as, you know, there’s another word for, freedom. And that was nothing left to lose, right? I think Janis Joplin, the great Janis Joplin, sang that, which is interesting because that was written by, Kris Kristofferson, who just passed last month. But that would get you thinking about freedom from a perspective of having nothing, which, you know, you’re not in bondage to all the things that you have.

Yeah. I thought it was an interesting lyric, but instead of, you know, being nothing left to lose, it’s more like nothing else to choose. And I think that, you know, you just made a little rhyme out of that. Yeah. You know, in mind bending idea of choices, you know, especially in a rich culture like the United States. We go into a car dealership and we pick from any number of cars and any number of colors of the same car, any number of options in the same car.

And then we we can leave the dealership and then we’re dissatisfied because we see the black one and we bought the white one and we say, oh, I should have got that one, and so on. And you think about that every time. And the reality is, if there was only a white one and you bought the white one, you would have no regrets.

When you left the dealership that you bought the white one. And as Christians, that’s really how we should live when it comes to the scriptures, when God’s way is the only way, we’re totally free. It’s when we give ourselves options. Oh, can I do it that way? Or this way? Now we’re in bondage to those those choices.

And, but say that first part again. When God’s way. Freedom is having no options, when God’s way is the only way, you’re totally free. And so that’s that’s been something I’ve been teaching the young people for a long time in discipleship, because, what happens when we die? When one when they come into the faith, you know, we die with Christ.

You know, it’s the life I live. You know, it’s like it says in Galatians 2:20, it’s, you know, I’ve been crucified with Christ. It’s no longer I who live, but the life I now live in the flesh. I live through the Son of God who died and gave his life for me, so that that concept is it should be pervasive in our life as Christians and and no different.

And the season like we’re in a voting season. You know, this is being, recorded three weeks from the U.S. election, presidential election in 2024. But it’s a truth, no matter what. I mean, a truth in this based in this book are not just for this election season. They’re they’re universal for us as Christians. And they’re and they really speak to the battle that’s going on.

In, In our culture, the United States of America, probably in many others as well. For the destruction of God’s image in the earth. It wasn’t originally written, or the sermon wasn’t originally a, a sermon for politics, although my wife says I preached it three times. And for clarity, I only ever preached it once during in our congregation.

The original message was way back in 2016 in Colorado Springs. I was invited to speak to a group of conservative politicians running for office. This is before the 2016 presidential election. I was asked to teach on kingdom governance. Like how does the Kingdom of Heaven infiltrate and what is kingdom governance? And you may know that the United States government itself was founded on a biblical principle.

You know, the three branches of government come from kingdom governance. In the Scripture, you have the king, the priest and the prophet, and we have the executive branch, the legislative branch, and the judicial branch. It comes right out of the Bible. And I’m nodding my head, but I didn’t know that that was that. Okay. And then, of course, the church governance is the king, the apostle and the prophet.

You know, it says in in Ephesians, the church was founded based on the chief cornerstone with the apostles and prophets. So you have this government concept. So while I’m teaching that I’m thinking about all the policy decisions politicians have to make, you know, which side of policies do they stand on? And there’s there’s too many to talk about.

Right. But you have big government and small government and high taxes and low taxes and, you know, being involved in other nations and being close to home, you could you could go open borders and closed borders and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Right. And the question is, you know, which of those are the ones that are on God’s heart?

And so I’m looking at these conservative politicians, many of them claiming to be Christians. And I said, listen, there’s only three things, only three things that define, a political standard when it comes to representing who God is in the earth. And that comes that comes right out of the book of Genesis when God said in Genesis chapter one looks at – creates Adam, and he says in his image he created him male and female.

He created them be fruitful and multiply. And most Christians, I mean, I don’t think this if you’ve ever read the Bible, you’ve seen that, right? It’s right in the first chapter. But when most people aren’t considering is that in that moment in the garden, there was just God and Adam, and God calls Adam a him, a male female them and tells Adam this lone… human male, to be fruitful and multiply.

So and now why did he have to do that? Because. Because we know as Christians, God is three in one. He’s a father, spirit, son. We know that’s what we call the Trinity. So for man to be created in God’s image, man Adam had to be three in one. And inside of Adam in the garden was man, woman, child.

But the thing is, we couldn’t see the woman and the child. And so fast forward to chapter two. God says, you know, it’s not good that man should be alone. And yet we know Adam wasn’t alone. Adam was with God. And so what God is saying there is it’s not good that Adam doesn’t recognize what’s inside of him.

And so we know the story goes. He puts Adam to sleep. He draws a rib out of Adam. He fashions a woman. We would know that today, as God took female DNA out of Adam and created a woman. Now we know scientifically, right, Mike? You know this. And my wife, also a Dr.. We know that men have male and female DNA, and women only have female DNA.

So you can get a woman out of a man, but you can’t get a man out of a woman. No way. Moses could have known that, scientifically when he wrote that. So he extracts the DNA, he fashions a woman, and then it says. And he brought her to him. And Adam immediately says, bone of my bone. And then God says, the two will become one flesh.

And of course, he gives us marriage. And so there we see hidden inside of Adam was this woman, an invisible attribute, so to speak. And then and then it’s later on, just just the beginning of the fourth chapter that we see the first child born. And so there’s this amazing picture when you look at, I can read this, it’s very interesting when, when.

Well, first he says he calls, he, he says I will make him a helper. That for Christians have really spark something because it’s exactly what, John the Apostle and the Gospel of John calls the Holy Spirit while Jesus does. Jesus says at the Last Supper table, he says, I will. I will send a helper comparable to him, as this is the idea, right?

Comparable to God. There’s a helper that’s coming from man. God called the help, called Eve. The helper. Right? And then Jesus says he does so often when he quotes that very scripture in, about man being created, or marriage being created and man being joined together with the woman, he adds something we don’t see in Genesis and in Genesis it says, the two shall become one flesh.

And Jesus said, therefore, what God has joined together, let not man separate. We hear this set at marriage, at wedding ceremonies all the time. And so what Jesus is, is saying to us is that picture of Adam in chapter one, and that picture of Adam and Eve in chapter two is the same picture. They’re only separate so we can identify the invisible quality of God.

They’re not meant to be apart. Marriage binds a man and a woman in one flesh, like Adam was one flesh. So? So that concept, which we know today in the earth as the human family. And then I thought, and I’m saying to these politicians, there’s a chief strategy of the devil against this God saying, yes, in the image I created man, male and female, they created them and be fruitful and multiply the human family, the image of God in the earth as the human family and the strategy of the devil to destroy the image of God in the earth is to destroy the human family.

Yeah. So so he goes. He comes against gender, human sexuality, proper human sexuality, marriage, and of course, the right to life. But we see these things today. Yeah, it seems like it really in politics started with let’s change the meaning of one term marriage. And in from there, you know, now let’s change the meaning of other words like gender.

And you know, in the last ten years, we went from, yeah, we’re very, very different now to, to we don’t even know what a man and a woman is. In fact, some people aren’t either. Right. And that’s the thing is here’s what where it’s become bizarre when we if you look at the end of the sexual freedom movement, that was kind of towards the end of the 50s and into the 60s.

And then you look at the, the, the homosexual movement that that started gaining traction, 30 years ago or 40 years ago today. Okay. I don’t I don’t think the Bible’s very clear. My opinion doesn’t matter. The Bible’s very clear that God does not favor homosexuality. But when you look at homosexuality today, it looks almost normal compared to what we’re saying today back then.

Okay, so man was of the man and a woman was a woman. But nobody was saying there was no such thing as a man or woman. That’s kind of this invention where it gets more, gets more and more perverted as the time goes on and and what struck me Mike I think that was most fascinating was that the destruction of our culture is related in, in, in Romans chapter one.

And this is why, way back in 2016, I taught this message before the election. Then, I taught it for a family conference online, and they wanted a prerecorded message. So I recorded it. And then I thought, oh, I’m going to teach this to the youth at our young adult study on Saturday morning. So I taught it again.

And it wasn’t until we started going verse by verse through the book of Romans last year, which we just completed. Now, when I got to Romans chapter one, can I read it to you? Please do. It literally says this in Romans. It is just it’s so shocking. And if you’re if you’ve studied, if you heard the teachings, you’re going, you’re going to say, oh, yeah, I’ve heard that before.

So it’s not going to be unusual. And I want to put a little twist on it. It says, and this is all in Romans chapter one, starting in the 18th verses, for the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteous of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, kind of like what we’re talking about today.

No such thing as a man, no such thing as a woman. Marriages between anything or nothing at all. And because, listen to this, Because what may be known of God. And here’s the secret. Now, if you can, if you could just place yourself back in the garden in that moment, Adam, in the garden, just with God. God calling Adam him male, female, them, be fruitful, multiply.

Because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. It goes on in the 20th verse to say, for since creation puts us back in the garden, for since the creation of the world is invisible, God’s invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by one the things he made. And that’s been taught universally.

as “look around and see nature”. Nature testifies to the fact there’s an intelligent God who created everything. So that’s not a wrong teaching, but I think it falls short of the the fullness of what God is saying. He goes on to say even his eternal power and Godhead… what is the Godhead? The fact that we have one God with father, spirit, son making up the character traits of this one God man created in that image so that they would be without excuse.

God had to reveal his invisible attributes to humans so they would understand the Godhead, so they would have no excuse. And how did he do that? He took Eve out of Adam and brought her to him and said, look, this is what was inside of you. Now be fruitful and multiply and a great the human family. What happens?

And you’re going to be like, it’s going to be like where it’s going to be like, we’re reading a newspaper article from 2024 because although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful. But we came for you to welcome their thoughts. And their foolish, hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise. They became fools.

and they changed the glory of the incorruptible God into something it says, corruptible man, birds and four-foot animals. Here it’s whatever, right? It’s more modernized today. Even worse. Therefore, something happened. It’s like now we can see what’s happening in the earth today. Therefore, God gave them up to the uncleanness of the lust of their heart to dishonor their bodies among themselves.

And because they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, worshipped the creature rather than the creator who is blessed forever. Amen. What are the truths here? God created man in his own image, male and female. He created them, told him to be fruitful and multiply.

God separated Eve from Adam so we could see the invisible qualities. God then joined them in marriage and said, you were never meant to be a part. Told them again to be fruitful and multiply. So the truth is that the human family is the image of God in the earth. What’s the lie? No such thing as a man.

No such thing as a woman. Sex or sexual reality can be with anything. With anything. It doesn’t even have to be human. Marriage can be between anything or nothing at all, and the unborn fruit in the womb has no right to live. The human family is not the image of God in the earth. So this is the big takeaway.

Two big things I want to say. You have to understand that the image of God in the earth is the human family. And you have to understand that the reason we know that is because God manifested in them and showed it to us. And here’s the thing. The first thing that happens when we deny that the first sin, because Romans does this, the first thing on the list is that for this reason, God gave them up to their vile passions.

Their woman exchanged what was natural wanting women. The men exchanged what was natural, wanting men. And it says because they didn’t want to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to number one on the list. Sexual immorality, sex. Here’s the other takeaway. Sexual immorality is the gateway sin in the earth, all forms of it, whether it’s denial of gender or the mixing of sexual relations or sex outside of marriage.

And then in Romans, there’s a list of the most atrocious sins that follow. It’s like the doorway into the destruction of the family. Don’t we know that whether it’s adultery or abortion or pornography or or child trafficking or sex, having children without two parents in single family homes because, you know, people having sex, whatever, all of that leads to the sin that has infiltrated it.

Yeah, yeah. The flesh was against the spirit. The spirit against the flesh are contrary to each other. So you cannot do what you want. And definitely as you give in to it, it becomes easier to give in to a whole bunch of other things. So I understand what you’re saying. It’s like, you know, when I grow up, I was always taught that marijuana is the gateway drug.

You start doing it and it’s not that bad, but then it leads to all these other things. And of course, I know I’ve seen that in people’s lives, you know, and of course, in, sexual immorality, is that the gateway sin? And then circling back around Mike to the political side, I looked at those politicians in 2016 and I said, here’s the deal.

You have to be on the right side of this equation, three and three, what? You have to be on the right side. You can’t call… Can I be so bold? I might offend somebody if I say this. You can’t call yourself a Christian and not agree. The image of God is what he says. It is. Meaning if you have invented God in your own image or another image, then you’re worshiping a different God.

And so if you come against these things and the worst happens when you legislate these things into government, right? It’s one thing to live that way. It’s another thing to legislate them as law into your into your society. It’s like it takes it to the highest level of wrong that that speaks to what Mike was saying earlier about the whole freedom.

You know, the lyric from the song because people want the freedom that’s like footloose and fancy free freedom, you know, the sexual revolution, freedom, all that freedom. They don’t want the freedom that they have to stand on a rock and know who they are and live like that’s true. They just want to be fluid, right? You know, so so this thing has.

So I looked at them and I said, listen, you have to be on this is what you have to represent. This is the right side. Fast forward all the way to, you know, I taught the message again last year. My wife decides to, hey, we should turn this into a book. And we just added the to the title in his image and, you know, in his image.

And she said, oh, we vote and as we face the polls we have to say, how can you go to the polls as a Christian and vote for anything other than politicians who stand for what the image of God is or vote in Bible. So that came from his. His other quote is “Think in Bible” because he disciples a lot of young people and he likes them to have like, you know, when you get a new vocabulary, you can think in that vocabulary.

He wants him to think in Bible. So when they’re like, oh, that’s like in Matthew, whatever. Like it just comes to their mind. And so I had shirts made for his birthday to surprise him. And then everyone started wearing the Think In Bible shirts. And I was like, you know, we really should have a vote in Bible in this season.

Right now. And that’s I was like, you know what? This is about voting in Bible. Yeah. In his image, we vote in his image. We live. You know, it’s not a it’s not a book for the next three weeks and then put it on the shelf. It’s this is this is how we live. Yeah. It says election Edition on there.

But that’s really because I’m thinking we need to make the in the in his image. You know, in the image of God just without the “we vote”. I added a fourth pillar at the end. Because I thought, but not just because of what’s going on with Israel today. Can I interrupt on this one, please? Because if you look at those first three pillars and then you look at the fourth, which one should be first?

Because I’m looking at it, I’m looking at that fourth pillar, kind of as you know, I’m father to my children. Don’t mess with my children, you know, don’t mess my children. And all of those other pillars are messing with my children. Yeah. So that let’s talk about the fourth pillar. Yeah. So we’ll recap that. That’s a well, I’ll say that because it but boy when I but but what, what you just said that’s a good revised edition because we know that that’s beautiful when we take the wheel.

What happened was because the, the whole seminar, the thing I was teaching, the sermon itself was built on, this, this concept between Romans and and Genesis, when it became this. Hey, it’s got to be something you’re when you’re picking politicians. I said, you know, I thought there is this other thing because we watched it happen. Watch it happen here.

What? Any time a U.S. politician president tries to force Israel against God’s will, what the Bible says, destruction comes. I mean, it’s just terrible. And so the Bible says of of Israel, through Abraham, I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you. I’m like, I don’t think we want our nation on the side of I will curse you.

And so we have to support Israel. This is not a political thing. It’s not whether you believe in this and that. And then, you know, so I just included a little section at the end. It says, look, there’s a covenant with God’s people. He calls Israel, even a land covenant with the people of Israel. And, and, let’s not get in the way of that.

It could certainly be expanded. And it certainly does speak to his children, like as Christians, where his children and that, in fact, even in the Bible, the Bible’s clear that as Christians you become part of Israel. In a sense, you become part of the covenants of Israel. But still, even with the land of Israel and non Christian Jews, there’s a covenant that God has with them, and you don’t want to get in the way of that.

So I added that in a at the end, as I said things, I said, listen, evaluate these four things in your politician. Where’s their stance on gender and human sexuality? Where’s their stance on marriage? Where’s their stance on abortion, and where’s their stance on Israel? And that’s something that we want people to look at in political candidates. And you know, who who are they supporting?

You know, like what is their foreign policy? It’s kind of important. And some of these like, you know, I’m I’m pretty black and white and staunch in my belief systems, but we have to understand, can I say this for Christians? We have to understand the heart of God. It’s so important to understand the heart of God. It’s so important to be able to discern the heart of God when I disciple young people, it’s it’s the first thing I teach them.

The Bible says that faith comes first, and after that is virtue, meaning what’s right, what’s morally excellent to God. Like? How can you become sensitive to knowing the heart of God? God is sensitive. He’s not written in stone. So if you were, if you were a, a Christian or anyone during World War two and you were hiding, hiding Jews in the walls of your house, and the Nazis knocked on the door and they said, you have Jews hidden in the walls of your house.

You would say, no, I don’t. He would lie right to their face. And, well, thou shall not lie. That’s breaking a commandment, you say? Yeah, well, giving somebody up to be murdered is also. And you have to understand that in moments of life, some of God’s commands come in conflict with one another. And you need to know the heart of God to be able to say, what’s the right choice in this moment.

So so, you know, especially with this abortion issue, we have such it’s so radically, it’s so radical, the way we look at it that the vitriol people have for one another when they have differing opinions here. And what I would say as a Christian is you need to understand the heart of God. Here’s here’s where I think we can be safe.

Abortion as birth control is murder. It’s murder. But there are times when the loss of a child is the giving up of, of a child of an unborn is for another reason. What? What about saving a woman’s life? What about these other heinous crimes that take place that threaten the life of the mother? And unfortunately, that’s a little dangerous territory to get into, because then people will say, oh, then he’s trying to say, I’m not trying to say, well, we know.

What happens is that doctors will use that as a loophole to say, sure, abortion is fine for everybody… freedom is having no options …and then it goes amuck. I’m not I’m not talking about human freedom here. I’m talking about I’m talking about this is what I would say. We need to know the heart of God. And Christians need to know the heart of God.

Who else on the planet can discern the heart of God and those that are filled with this Holy Spirit? And so these are things the issue and the reason I’m saying this about the US election today is because because nobody’s because both sides of the aisle have problems in their belief system, right? Because these are humans. We’re trying to institute things and, you know, get rid of, you know, the national right for abortion and the abolishing of Roe versus Wade.

Okay. Put it back in the states. Oh, that was the states. Get to decide if they want to kill babies. It’s like the reality is we have to have a conscience with God. Like, imagine if we had the heart of God in us. We wouldn’t get this wrong. That’s the point. That’s the point. We don’t legislate immorality.

Morality is the Holy Spirit acting inside of humans with real morality, what we call what the Bible calls virtue, is knowing the heart of God and knowing the voice of God in any given moment. We need to practice doing that. When you say when we say think in Bible, that’s what that is. Or even when we say freedom’s having no other option.

So what do you think, Mike? I mean, it impressed you so much you had just come on the show today. I’m sure your listeners would want to hear. Like what? What’s your review of it? What what did you take away? Well, you know, there’s there’s God’s way and then there’s also the party’s way. So if you’re a conservative, for instance, you might look at things and say.

Consider the amendment. We’re in Florida, the Marijuana amendment. I would look at that and say, well, from a Republican perspective, I would say we we’re making too many regulations. And if we restrict too many things, man, I’m trying to think of a quote I think was, was it Ben Franklin or who was it that said, whoever sacrifices freedom for a little security deserves neither.

So, I’m saying, okay, well, maybe we should still have the freedom. But now, from God’s perspective. Okay, wait a second. If we allow that freedom, it’s, a gateway to other things from a conservative. I might say, oh, this is good, because, we’re going to get fentanyl out of the marijuana for the people that are still going to do it, and we’ll eliminate the cartel.

But from God’s perspective, you don’t think the cartel can come up with something else? You know, they’ll always have a way in to the people. So just like something like that, me stepping back and saying, okay, forget my, my, my, my conservative belief that too much regulation, in certain areas is, is taking away our, our freedom.

But what’s, what’s God’s perspective? You know, we do need some laws. We do need laws. And, and we can say if we look at it right, because you can’t have anarchy, right. And governance, God’s God defines sin by transgression of the law. There are laws. And he does give humans. He makes us co-creators. He says, okay, you’re going to create a society.

There has to be laws. I don’t want to drive on a street where nobody cares that there’s a stop sign and nobody cares that there’s a red light. Like, I want to drive in the street where it says, oh, the red lights there and I could expect the person now the red lights there, because we have to give that other person a chance to go.

And, you know, if it’s 4:00 in the morning and there’s no other cars, and it’s a pretty easy decision. But when it’s 2:00 in the afternoon and it’s a thousand cars going in, you know, going against each other, and you want somebody to say, hey, your turn to stop. Everybody obey that, your turn to go. And we have to be able to to live with those kind of regulations because we prefer what does the Bible says?

The Bible says, love your brother. This is the love of God. Love your neighbor and do no harm, even, even more contracted than when they ask Jesus, oh, what’s the greatest commandment? He says, Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, strength. Deuteronomy 6. Love your neighbor as yourself. right from Leviticus. In Romans it says, love your neighbor and do no harm.

It’s literally the way we love God. We have to prefer others and don’t hurt them. And here’s the thing that’s most extraordinary in Paul’s writings. He he connects the joy of the Lord. That’s the easiest path to the joy of the Lord by how you treat other people, which I think is so amazing because it’s the it’s one of the things in your life that you can control completely.

There is nobody telling you how you should treat somebody else but yourself, meaning you have within your grasp 100% control over your own joy by how you treat other people, treat others how God wants you to treat them. And you will be. You’ll be an endless well of joy. That reminds me of, do you remember when we were at life?

Mike and I went to chiropractic school together and all the epitaphs on the wall, but my favorite one was the BJ Palmer one. You never know how far reaching something you think, say, or do today will affect the lives of millions tomorrow. And that’s really the message of service leadership. Because if everybody is so concerned with what’s in it for me and all, too bad for you.

I’m so sorry. But this is what I’m doing, how it affects family, how it affects children unborn, how it affects, you know, like future generations. I just read it, something the other day or somebody sent me actually a video of, kind of like, revealing something that’s going on in this world called mate. I had no idea it was going on.

And it’s really genocide or, you know, like the sorry, not genocide, euthanasia that you would allow somebody to choose whether they just wanted to terminate their life. And I think originally it was for if you have a terminal illness or something like that, very, very critical. Right, and there in severe pain and then like, I’m going to die in a month.

So can we just end it now? So that sounds humane, but now it’s expanding to be legal in 11 states. I had no idea. And of course they just include more and more and more people and and Canada, even children can decide this. And the father took wow went to court because his 23 year old daughter, who was autistic but fully functioning and, ADHD normal like you see that everywhere wanted to, you know, utilize this.

And the Dr. approved it and he, you know, he’s like, wait a minute, you’re going to help my daughter kill herself. And so it was in the courts. And, the daughter said, well, you know, if you don’t let them help me, I’ll just kill myself. I’ll starve myself. I’ll do whatever. So he you know, what are you going to do at that point?

But fast forward that to now. You think about as a Dr., you know that until 25, a person’s brain isn’t even fully formed and they’re making all these decisions like even something simple, like a tattoo. I have a young person in my life. She’s 23, 22? and she got a tattoo, like around here. You know, she thought it was cool in high school.

Now she hates it. She was just a bride and she didn’t want to have that. And she was trying to put makeup on it. And she looks at it all the time, and she’s like, I wish somebody would said, wait, think about it a little bit more, right? And she was even saying to me, you know, the brain’s not even formed till 25.

And like, you know that, but like just that whole topic that we can allow child to mutilate their body and change their gender. Yeah. Before such an age, I mean, I don’t know what’s what’s happening with this world. Well, there’s not enough love in it that’s true, and people self-love even. Yeah, people feel, you know, lost. And they’re looking for something.

Yes. Is there hope? There’s hope. We went. You know, it’s interesting I didn’t include in the book the, you know, the the end of the story. I mean, it’s the restoration of the family. It’s the end of the story. Right? The restoration of culture. In the book of Romans, the resolution doesn’t get talked about prophetically until the eighth chapter.

And, you know, it’s interesting that, it refers to either even when I wasn’t planning on going here. But you guys, you know, the story of the transfiguration when Jesus goes up on the mountain with Peter, James and John is like inner core. He goes up there and he transfigures into a beam of light. Of course, you know, three his three closest friends are, like, shocked.

And they see Elijah and Moses appear. So I always wonder is like, how did they know it was Elijah and Moses? Like, do they have, like, photos? How do they know? But but, they witnessed this. It’s actually during the same season we’re in right now. Like literally tonight I did this broadcast the Feast of Tabernacles from from the Bible begins tonight at sundown.

It was during that feast and they literally say to Jesus, hey, we should build three tabernacles for one for you and one for Elijah, one for Moses. And, and, and then they come down off the mountain and Jesus tells them this. Hey, by the way, don’t say a word about this until, until after I’m dead, buried, resurrected.

Of course, they don’t really get that concept, but they but they do ask him this question. It has to do with this topic. It’s, They say, why did the scribes say Elijah must come first? And Jesus says, indeed, Elijah is coming and he will restore all things. There’s the secret, restore all things. The what is he talking about?

What is that restoration of all things? It’s spoken about in Romans and the eighth chapter where he says, all of creation back to the garden that got corrupted with the sin. Right? Because in between chapter two and the birth of the first child is what the fall of the garden? He says, all of creation is waiting, an eager expectation for the revealing of the sons of God, because creation was subject to futility, not in its own cause, but him subjected and hope.

Why? Because creation got disrupted when sin happened in the garden. And it’s when God’s people are revealed, not Christians becoming Christians, but when they come into their fullness. Like you said, not enough love in the world. I say the love of God is love your neighbor and and do no harm. Can you imagine a world of Christians where that’s their number one focus?

Like that’s how they’re living their life, right? You’re not having sex outside of marriage. You’re not aborting babies. You’re not destroying the family. Like all these things, the reference to Moses and Elijah on that mountain is literally and they know this. The disciples know this. I think most Christians don’t recognize it. They don’t maybe know the Bible well enough, but it’s a reference to the very last verses of the Old Testament and the book of Malachi.

When Malachi, Italian prophet, where it literally says, And by the way, not likely a name, it just means that means set one. The name of the book itself. It literally says, remember the laws of Moses. My what? That I commanded in Horeb, with its statutes and judgments. Behold, I send you Elijah the prophet before the coming and dreadful day of the Lord, and he will.

And here say this. He describes right there the restoration return, turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers, lest they come and strike the earth with the curse. There it is, the restoration of family. It’s the restoration of all things. And he says, lest they strike the earth with a curse, what he’s saying is, lest the curse over creation remain, because it’s existing with existing in that curse.

Currently we’re not in the restoration. Creation is still spinning in chaos and, and and that connection with Moses and Elijah on the mountain, with Jesus and his transfigured being of light form, is connected to the very thing he answers when he comes down from the mountain. He says, Elijah. And he says, oh, by the way, he continues, oh, Elijah.

He came, he preached. He was a pre incarnate version of this came in John the Baptist. Well, they they say they understood it to be John the Baptist. What was the prophecy over John’s John the Baptist life. And in Luke chapter one he would turn the hearts of the children to the fathers, and the hearts of the fathers to the children whom he would come before the Lord.

Right. And so he did before the first coming. And Elijah comes again before the second coming. You see how his job, sorry and how his brain thinks in Bible. What and what is the and what is the job of this Elijah ministry? Some believe it’s actually Elijah. Some believe it’s the spirit of Elijah and the church. Either way or both.

The job is to restore families, and it’s in more than one place in the Bible, turning the hearts of the. That’s a chance to the children and the hearts of the children to the parents. And if you look at society today, it’s so fractured. I think parents almost have an unhealthy fear of their children, like they don’t know what they’re going to do.

There hasn’t been much parenting, a little bit of a free for all watch. Anything you want going. You know, parents, I don’t even know how to get into their kids phones. I’m like, what do you mean you don’t check their oh, no, that’s their privacy. I’m like, the kid’s ten. Like, there’s no it’s not privacy. You own that phone.

Don’t you need to know what they’re doing on it in the middle of the night under the covers? Like this is a whole world they’re living that you know nothing about. And we’re called to shepherd their hearts. And we have to have their hearts, right. I think they’re afraid that their children will be mad at them and lose their hearts.

But that’s it’s like it’s the opposite, you know, creating that beautiful family structure. So we want to connect. Yeah, yeah. We have to love them more. They have to know that we love them. But sometimes it looks like tough love. Oh sure. Structure training right. Absolutely. Yeah. So that’s the answer Mike. you say “is there hope?” It’s restoration.

It’s love. It’s family relationship. That’s what it’s going to look like in the earth. That’s why I love that message in the image of God. because for me it was beautiful about marriage, about, how Eve was inside and the child was inside. It was like like those Russian dolls, you know, you break them up and was like, it’s all there.

It’s this beautiful picture of who God is. Yeah, I think that’s one of those things that, for a lot of people is going to be like a greater truth, you know, meaning, you know, we’ve had our, image of what? What is it? What is the image of God? And, you know, it well, father, son and spirit, we’ve, you know, tend to focus on the Triune and then have our understandings of what that might be.

Well, I’m a body, soul, and spirit is that, you know, is that the image of God? You know, and I think that there’s greater truths as you’re digging into. And I think there’s still going to be even more so that some day it’s going to be like, wow, you know, the, the word for virgin, a young girl.

Oh, but an actual virgin, a greater understanding, a greater understanding of that same term. And there’s going to be so many more things revealed as they are even now. Isn’t that? Didn’t remember the parable of the soils when when they asked Jesus what they mean? You know, in Matthew chapter 13, he starts off with, it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.

Wow, that’s our job. Like you’re talking about. The job of our job in the earth is to uncover and unpack the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. Putting these pieces together that we’re talking about this little sample today and much more, is our job as Christians is to uncover these mysteries and how they relate to one another and kind of integrated thinking and Bible.

Right? This Bible is this giant. It’s not one dimension, it’s not two dimensions. It’s not ten, it’s like an infinite number of dimensions of truth that we have to integrate and integrate into this life. As humans. As we sit here, it says in Second Corinthians, we are ambassadors of Christ, as if he is pleading through us. Right? And he says, be ministers of reconciliation.

You’ve been reconciled. Grab that reconciliation and become the reconciliation for others. Can you imagine the call in our lives as Christians, and how are we going to do that if we don’t practice every day becoming more like Christ? How do we do it? You know, this message is like he said, very beautiful and touching and will take people on a journey.

First, they have to want to go on that journey and maybe even some of your viewers, might have had a past. Like me, I grew up in a Catholic church, all girl Catholic high school, and I knew about God, but I never knew him personally. And I thought, like, if you would have said, what’s the image of God?

I would have said, well, he’s kind of like Zeus up there waiting to throw the lightning bolts, and I should just feel guilty and, you know, like that. And that had nothing to do with the image of God like we’re talking about, right? That beauty, that relationship, that we’re his child, that when I finally realize that I’m his daughter, he created me uniquely for purpose, and I should probably align with it.

And because I, on aligning with it, led me to a lot of bad decisions and a lot of hurt in my life. And that’s what kind of gave me that little wakeup call like, how are you going to do plan C or D or E if you, you know, you made all the same mistakes in ABC maybe.

God. And when I realized who I was and whose I was, that made all the difference. And then what he’s done for you. Right. And then these messages can illuminate and you could go further and deeper into thinking and Bible and wanting to even care about that. Right. Yeah. Yeah. So it’s a beautiful thing. I love you guys.

Thanks for having us, Mike. Thank you so much. To the people. Get the book. It’s on Amazon in his image. We vote yes by DJ Romans. Should we talk about that? So Mike introduced us in the beginning, but. Oh yeah we forgot to say that. So my name is not on the book. And so yeah, it’s his alias, DJ Romans. DJ

Roman’s Dr., Jeff Roman, his favorite book that he just wrote. So perfect pen name for himi. Notice. When I write books, I can’t put my name on books according to the Lord, so I’m happy to do that. So my wife is saying “somebody’s names got to be on there”… So, Yeah, that’s still on there, Dr.. Jeff D.J. anyway, DJ Romans, I think it’s a good, name.

It’s perfect for you. Perfect. Coming next is this book on Romans, called Every Man’s Book of Romans. And you could see the words on his mind. It fit together perfectly. He taught through it for one solid year. Now, when I started to write the book, chapter by chapter, while I was teaching it, it took me 35 weeks because we had other things going on during the year. 35 weeks of teaching Romans 35 chapters to the book.

Oh, and if you buy the book, chapter one of that book, isn’t it? So you get a little teaser for the next book. Yeah. And the next book I probably won’t be able to read in the morning, though. No. Not at all. But you can use it as a Bible study. But it is easy reading. I would say that it’s a narrative.

It’s a narrative on the book of Romans. So it takes you through the whole journey of Romans. Yes, even. Even when Paul finally gets to the point where he says, I’ve been wanting to come to Rome for so long now, I’m coming right at the end of chapter 15, he says, I’m going to stop by on the way to Spain.

I take a pause out from the book and I catalog his entire journey from from the stoning of Stephen all the way up to his arrival in Rome. Right there, packed into chapter 15 of, but you give it, you do chapter one in this book, though, I split. Yeah. So if you got through that Romans book will buy you the shirt thinking Bible.

Because you will think you’re Bible after that. Well, Dr.s thank you, be a little selfish. Where can they find more? Well, kingdomembassyministries.org is the, ministry website. Lots and lots where he teaches. And you can find his teachings and then speak life press is the publishing company we just launched… dot com. And also, you can find me Dr. Andrea hazim.com and yeah, that’s how you find us.

Every social media kind of sermon notes that I use, that I create to preach are there on our website. I think in five years that’s got to be something like 60,000 pages of sermon notes and questions. It’s it’s an online Bible college. Yeah. So anyway, it’s all there for free. You can take it, use it. It’s not copyrighted.

You can even steal it if you want and and preach it somewhere else. I love it. Yeah. Thank you, thank you Mike.
